Nikishka Iyengar is an entrepreneur, consultant, and activist working at the intersection of finance, equitable development, climate action and racial justice. For the last decade, Nikishka has used a “whole systems” approach to solving social and environmental challenges by identifying systemic causes of issues, assessing links between various systems, and developing strategies to help transform these systems for sustainable impact. She is the founder and CEO of The Guild, a social enterprise focused on building community wealth and resilience through real estate, entrepreneurship programs, and access to capital for historically marginalized communities. Nikishka is also the owner of Whole Systems Collective, an impact consulting and media collective working towards a just and regenerative economy through two key initiatives – the transformation of our financial systems and climate action. Previously, as a sustainability consultant at a top management consulting firm, she helped her clients unlock ~$1B worth of value from renewable energy, water stewardship, and emissions reduction opportunities. Nikishka is a 2018-2019 RSF Social Finance Fellow, where she explores how integrated capital can be leveraged to build a new economy centered on racial justice, gender equity, and environmental sustainability. She is part of the Urban Land Institute’s Center for Leadership and is a current New Leaders Council Fellow. Nikishka was recognized by GreenBiz as a “30 under 30” and was honored by Grammy nominated artist Janelle Monae as one of three top changemakers in Atlanta. Nikishka is a sought-after speaker on social entrepreneurship, sustainability, and on building a purpose-driven career and company.
