Tsion Ghedamu is the Senior Program Manager of the Aspen Global Innovators Group. At the Aspen Institute, she supports the Aspen Global Innovators group in working on overlooked challenges in global health and development. She believes in elevating grassroots experts living in the Global South, women, young leaders continue to create equitable solutions to the most challenging of global health issues.

Prior to joining AGI, Tsion has experience in reproductive health care by working abroad in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia with Marie Stopes International and has written on global health governance issues such as strengthening immunization policies globally. Tsion has also worked in vaccine strategy for GAVI, the Vaccine Alliance.

Tsion holds a Master in Science of Public Health degree in Health Policy & Management from the Gillings School of Global Public Health. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Public Policy from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. Tsion lives in Washington, D.C.
